As the title indicates, I finally get a chance to create and run my own PC, but I have some questions. First off, I have 2100xp and 95 days of downtime from the games I have run. The questions are as Follows:

Q1- Do I use a standard log sheet to record my DM rewards?

Q2- Can I burn through my downtime to craft prior to my first game (using the log sheet) to make some gp?

Q3 - Do I need to apply all the rewards to a single character or can I divide it between multiple ones so long as the rewards (xp and downtime) from a single adventure stay together?

Q4 - Since all my DM rewards come from running DDEX1 games, do I have to use the rewards to make a character(s) using the pre-PotA rules?

Well, that is it for now. Thanks for the info in advance.

The origin is avaiable and listed as such in ALPG 2.0 with the available rules sources.

ALPG 1.0 is retired

At least thats how I understand it.

You still build your character using the rules on pages 3 and 4 of the ALPG v2.0 however. One notable difference between v2.0 and v1.0 is the following passage regarding Starting Equipment.

Choose Equipment (ALPG 1.0 p4)

When you create your D&D Adventurers League character, you can choose one of two options for your equipment:

  • Take starting equipment as determined by your class and background.
  • Take maximum gold pieces (gp) for your class as noted in chapter 5 of the Player’s Handbook or basic rules, and buy your equipment piecemeal.

Kalani is correct on all counts.

Do DM rewards accrue after each session or at the same times the PCs get downtime and renown awards?

I am doing the opposite of the OP. Just DMed my first game last week after many years as a player.

I think Kalani is right about the creation guidelines.

Does the reward the DM receive when running since august get updated to ALPGv2.0 (so include a gold reward) or the gold reward are not retroactive?

Thank you for the responses. Have a follow up on the downtime activity question.

Q2b – If I'm a performer I can use my DT to perform (PHB pg. 187) and earn enough to maintain a wealthy (4gp/day; PHB pg. 157) lifestyle, can I live on a modest (1 gp/day; PHB pg. 157) lifestyle and pocket the difference?

I write DM CREDIT down the side of the log sheet where I have dmed the game. Makes things easier for me when Im looking to see what a particular character has played.  Like you I have a swag of downtime sitting on a character but 0 renown.
