Does downtime 'reset' if you switch from LMoP to HotDQ?

The DM whose table I played at tonight said that the downtime I earned from Lost Mine of Pendelver reset when I took it to Heart of the Dragon Queen and that if I were to take it back to Lost Mine of Pendelver it would reset again.  He said this was writtin in the ALPG.

I couldn't find any such rule in the ALPG, in fact the rules seem to support cross-storyline play because one sidebar even says "You can play episode in any order you wish as long as you meet the level requirements for the episode."  Why would there be a penalty for playing more often?

What the ALPG does say;

"Each program simply defines a play format; you can play adventures from any or all of the play programs in the order in which you choose. The only limitations are where you can participate and your character’s level. "

You keep any downtime you've earned anywhere until you decide to expend it.

Thank you for your answers.  It's on your AL as 'current downtime days' and then you '+/-' the new downtine days to get your total.  I coucln't imagine that they would vanish for any reason as going between one 'episode' and the next, regardless of where it is, should be the same in organized play.

@Startredes - I can see that being the line that was misinterpreted.  There are a lot of new rules (both game rule and campaign rule) it' easy to get things a little mixed up in this early period.
