This way it wold make it o much easier for DM (specially new DM who don't have access to pevious seasons) to double check something that look suspicious.
Why am I asking? well I've played in online game and I saw people walking around with greataxe+1, and otehr weird item that at my knowledge are not available no where and when I ask them where they got such an item they tell me the name of a module that I don't know.
if we could have access to a list of possible item and where the item is accessible it wold be easy fo rthe D to ask: where you got your greataxe +1, and if the player sais anything other then Fai Chen trading fair, you know the item is a fake and you can tell him that he cannot use it in your game.
Quick second question: does Fai Chen trading fair, give a tradeable certificated? |

If they have a cert it's even easier. Just ask to see the cert. If the front of the cert has the character name on it, you can cross reference it with their logsheet. If it was traded, it should have a completed trade log.
If they got the item outside of an adventure - that should also have a log entry: eg. Fai chens fantastical faire. Items obtained outside of an adventure will almost certainly have other official documentation showing their authenticity (eg a cert).
In each case - there is no need for an item list. The adventure log and/or cert should have all the required information. If they cannot produce the log (and/or cert) - disallow the item at your table. |

Done such that it is picked up by other players (your character never misses, or massively outdamages other characters, or something similar), usually means that your character is hogging the show - that will quickly become disruptive. |
| #9OraibiJul 21, 2015 17:27:08 | I'm of the opinion that if someone has to cheat at D&D, they probably need to reconsider their life choices.
Like, cheating at solitaire was too lonely or something, so they're cheating in a cooperative game? I don't get it.
