All my gaming recently has either been online (e.g. roll20) or with my two nephews (ages 8 & 12) so this was the first time in a looooong time (decades) I've sat around a table with other adults...strangers no less...and rolled dice. Was touch and go because I was level 1 playing with 2's and 3's, but survived the night, dinged a level, and had a good time.
Good stuff. |

I'm JUST getting back into D+D again. Pre-ordered the beginning set just for giggles. I'm in the north San Diego area... anybody have any suggestions on where to go? I'd like to get a new group (I moved away from my old one) and play a few games at the local shop... I figure I'll be able to meet people from there.
Don't laugh, but I've never done this before! Growing up, we just had a small group that lived within bicycle range! |
