We'll be making a more formal announcement about the status and state of Season 3 in the near future.  The Gen Con listings forced our hand on a couple of topics... but we have plenty of surprises in store!  Not everything is as it seems, especially where demons are involved.

Ok I did some reading on Hillsfar and just like with Mulmaster with their magic restriction and penalties, in the case for Hillsfar it may be a racial issue sence all non-humans were exiled from the city and only non-human slaves are allowed to stay.  This will make for very interesting interaction in the city with non-human pcs.  I like the idea!

Again, remember the Demihuman edict only existed because of Maalathir the former Leader/Tyrant of Hillsfar. With his death, thats not to say that demihumans are treated anywhere near the same anymore.

Its nice that people remember the anti Demihuman sentiment that existed, but keep in mind it might be long gone.

Oh yeah I bet the anti Demihuman sentiment is sitll there, its just probably not legislated like it was to send Demihumans to the Arena.

You dont breed out ... what is effectively racism over night or over a generation. I can however imagine the gnashing of teeth and the agressive forum posts if demihumans ARE treated poorly in most of the scenarios.  It would be some awesome scenarios to tie the Demonic forces normally tied to racism , anger and the like into the storyline esp in Hillsfar.

Hillsfar isn't technically within the forest of Cormanthor, but it's close -- it's probably the closest large settlement to the rebuilt city of Myth Drannor (assuming that didn't get unwound when the Spellplague was unwound), which is itself a long-time fiend-haunt.

It should be noted that the First Lord of Hillsfar isn't any nicer than the High Blade of Mulmaster -- Hillsfar's government is considered Neutral Evil according to what campaign materials we have access to.

Myth Drannor was destroyed at the conclusion of the Sundering, along with Shade Enclave.  F***ing Elminster.
