Inspiration and AL

Is inspiriation a mechanic that is talked about in the AL Player's Guide. Can it be carried over from game to game? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

There's no definite way to gain inspiration, it's completely up to the DM. The AL guide doesn't outright ban it, so my guess is that it's still up to the DM to use as they see fit. Personally, I would like the ability to give inspiration for really over the top great roleplay interactions as well as possibly give a new player inspiration when they have failed two death saves and are about to roll another death save. Killing new players in their first game tends to cause them to lose interest.
