#1 Seaners Jul 30, 2015 12:35:18	Apologies if this was covered a year ago; I couldn't find a thread. Which map do people use for Phlan? I'm looking for one with as much detail as possible. Where is Madame Freona's Tea Kettle in the town? Thanks! Seán
#2 Nevvur Aug 07, 2015 12:30:05	State of Phlan shows the map in current use. It's a pretty, but sort of 'empty' feeling map for all the craziness that happens. DDEX1-14 tells us "Madame Freona's Tea Kettle is located northeast of Scholar Square--near the bazaar in Podol Plaza," and... Show That it is completely surrounded by the magical thicket created by the Maimed Virulence. The module also describes this thicket as growing along the borders and walls of the town (then rising to create a canopy over the entire area). The precise location on the map isn't relevant to any of the DDEX1-1 mini adventures, but the proximity of Podol Plaza to Valjevo Castle might be, if you ever get the chance to run DDEX1-14 and the party makes a lot of noise. I vaguely recall someone describing how a player used a Horn of Blasting during a rescue mission at the Tea Kettle, and if the castle looms so close, it stands to reason a large force of guards could respond.
