No Expeditions in January & February

This may have been asked an answered, but why is there no Expedition adventures available for the months of January & February? The next adventures I see look like they are not playable until March 1st.  I'm assuming that is still season 19 because it's Lvl 5-10 material.

Because there are no major Cons in December or January (remember Expeditions scenarios only roll out a month after the Covention).  I believe the campaign staff are specifically using this time to muse on the next season (and probably hand out writing assignments).

 

You are not the first person to question why this is so, and you will not be the last.

 

When Jan comes around I will have only Bandits of the Iron Route and Tyranny of Phlan left to run. I run every 2 weeks so thats January more or less spoken for. In February, I am aiming to rerun Secrets of Sokol Keep and Dues for the Dead although Ive not scheduled that far ahead yet.

 

I think its certainly something to plan ahead for 2015 though in terms of how we run games. with no new games for Jan and Feb we will need to plan for it.

Writting assignments for the 1st half of the next season are already out! (yay!) As for what you might play, give HotDQ or RoT a try if you haven't already. They're great!

We envision possibly putting out such but there are none for the foreseeable future.

I know that during season 1, our core table change character very often (wanted to try class that they didn't like, the character die and couldn't be ressurected (unable to retreive the body and bring it back in town) the RP of the character send him away from Phlan and if expedition bring us outside of Phlan, maybe those character could be played again, but as long that we stay in Phlan those character won't come back. So some of us won't have character lvl 5, so we'll probably take this time to rerun LMoP to make sure everyone got at least 1 character level 5 then those character will hear about the problem in Phlan, travel to Phlan and will be ready for the next batch of DDEX.
