PC storyline origins???

Okay

I'm going to be runnin my first AL mods next week. I've been reading as much as possible and I want to double check one thing. We are doing the Rage of Demon storyline, but I know the pc's can use any storyline origin for their new characters. Aside from the bonds and backgrounds in the rod playerguide, is there benefit that a pc WOULD'T get from starting their character in a different storyline? Factions in particular, do they get the rod Harper benefits if the origin is the ee storyline?

The Rank 3 Faction benefits are based on which Mod you are playing, they have nothing to do with which story origin you pick.

 

There are some background (features, bonds, etc) unique to each story line. And there are some races and spells unique to the EE story line.  Thats it.
