| #1Bob_no_OniApr 13, 2015 9:00:23 | Greetings all,
I am wanting to play a Cleric of Sune in a home game that is using Adventurers League rules. However, I am not worried much about optimization right now, but more about theme and fun. As such, what odd and different race would you suggest for a Cleric of Sune that most people wouldn't relate to following Lady Firehair? The first one that popped into my head was Half-Orc. I was going to go a minimum of 14 Charisma no matter what race though, just for theme reasons. Also, would you suggest Life or Light for domain? |

None of them get a boost to charisma, but Water Genasi get +1 to wisdom. |

A Dragonborn might be a good RP opportunity because "all Dragonborn look alike" - even the intro text suggests that it is hard to tell Dragonborn apart, or read their face.

As a Tiefling you have physical appearance issues. You might have skin and scales, skin and feathers etc. And a tail. Its still a very interesting concept.
(Note that the only Cleric of Sune we see lost his faith when he was scarred.) |

Using spells to hide.. a deformity or a difference is not the way to solve it though.
So in answer to your question BRJN.. all '3'. Difference in the characters eyes, other Tieflings eyes (as no two Tieflings look exactly the same) and the eyes of other races (why has that guy got 3 feathers growing out of his head?)
Keep in mind in the Story, the Cleric Adon after he got scarred, effectively lost faith in his God (and it may not have happened had he not lost Faith because he thought that Sune only wanted him perfect).
Im not saying a Tiefling Cleric of Sune cant be done, Im just saying there wouldnt be too many of them around. |

In 4e FR, the goddess Sune was revealed to be the one and the same deity as Hanali Celanil, the Seldarine (elven) goddess of love. |
| #9TyranthraxusApr 15, 2015 1:35:36 | Yeah I remember reading about that somewhere (the Celanil thing).
For some reason it got me to thinking about the god Hoar , who is the God of Vengeance and Reprisal.(and who was once Assuran of the Untheric Pantheon).
With them attempt to revisit a lot of the Gods of 3e, I wonder if the Untheric.. and for that matter Mulhorandi Gods will make a comeback. |

If your intrested in flavor then any of these choices would work, but if your wanting to do more practice or power game as a cleric of Sune then only human and half elf will do. |
