| #2SkerritJul 23, 2015 14:06:59 | There wil be a Madness related article on the DnDAL website in the near future. |
| #3klobbermeisterJul 23, 2015 14:35:40 | "If a creature with level 3 madness fails a madness saving throw, its madness level becomes 1. In this way, characters can potentially accumulate multiple forms of madness."
Does the creature still have the Indefinite Madness *on top of* the new Short Term Madness, or just the new Short Term Madness? I'm not sure how to interpret the above sentence. |

Under allowed rules, it states:
Does this mean, for instance, that a conjuratjon spell could summon other monster manual creatures? That wild surges can now summon modrons and unicorns? |

So then that's a yes to the wild surge question, right? If your surge says that a unicorn appears, then the unicorn still appears despite not being found in any of the allowed rules.
Or is it a no, since the feature doesn't specify "as found in the Monster Manual"? |

| #9LefferDPJul 23, 2015 16:38:51 | I admit I'm kind of disappointed that there aren't any new class or race options. |
| #10SkerritJul 23, 2015 16:44:52 | Are you sure there are not? What's in Out of the Abyss appendix A? |
| #11LefferDPJul 23, 2015 16:47:42 | I'm clearly spoiled by last season's release of a separate list of additional options. I guess I assumed that model was what they planned to use in the future. |

| #15TyranthraxusJul 23, 2015 18:44:13 | I thought I would draw attention to this:
"D&D Expeditions and D&D Epics Rewards. A DM running D&D Expeditions or D&D Epics play receives a DM reward after each adventure he or she runs for a group. Consult each adventure for the rewards earned. "
to the EE version:
"D&D Expeditions and D&D Epics Rewards. A DM running D&D Expeditions or D&D Epics play receives a DM reward after each adventure he or she runs for a group. A double-length adventure (typically 6–8 hours long) earns double this reward. The DM receives 200 XP and 100 gp times the tier of play (200 XP / 100 gp for levels 1–4, 400 XP / 200 gp for levels 5–10, 600 XP / 300 gp for levels 11–16, and 800 XP / 400 gp for levels 17–20) and 10 downtime days for each adventure completed. "
As Im mostly an AL DM. (Ive played maybe 4 games over the past year ) this interests me. Im wondering why it was deviated from what it was in EE. |

Really?
I thought the EE way was easier.
I run a 1-4 game. I know I get 200 exp and 100 gold for my dm credit character. I run a 5-10, I get 400exp and 200 gold. Its spelled out clearly.
Can you imagine the issues there might be if for whatever reason the powers that be fail to include that sentence that lists the dm rewards? I actually think its more work for the writers who have to remember to include the dm rewards sentence in the scenario, I certainly dont think its simpler. |

| #19QzooJul 23, 2015 19:14:06 | I could really use the printer friendly version.
I actually prefer to read on paper, plus I'm putting in it's own coil binder anyway. |
| #20OraibiJul 23, 2015 19:18:54 | Qzoo, here's where you can download the printer-friendly version.

for the Sword Coast Adventurer Guide, AL admin got 2 months to read it and review it in order to include it (fully or partially) in season 4, If you need help you can ask me I'll gladly help you with the math analysis to compare the different synergie of different combo between the PHB and the SCAG.
EDIT: when are we legally allowed to start creating a character using season3 origins? |
