#1 Sorxores Dec 02, 2014 9:41:25	my Character got 8 renown points, and 80 downtime day. I know that in the PHB and in the DMG we have the option on what to do with the downtime (catch up, learn a new proficiency/language, increase or social standing, cure diseases etc... build a HQ) but what does renown does? yes when I reach 3 renown I'm suppose to become rank 2 in my faction, but how does that happen, am I just simply rank 2 once I reach 3 renown? or is there a ceremony or something that must happen, is there bonus that my faction give me?   Then to reach rank 3 I need to do a secret mission, are those the special mission that some faction receive in some of the DDEX that give them an extra renown point? like making a map of the entire dungeon to help the zhentarim convert it into a HQ? or killing th balck dragon in the marsh fro the emerald enclave?   Do I gain anything based on that renown? is there a "renown shop" where I could buy special item from my faction based on my renown?
