Rules questions?

Hi, I tried looking through the FAQ thread for an answer to my question, and I didn't see one. I apologize if it is there, I am really bad at foruming. I just had a quick question about the Adventurer's league official rules regarding adventures in general. I played my first official D&D game at Emerald City Comic Con recently and I very much enjoyed it. I now have an "official" character that is level 2 because of that game, and I don't want to invalidate that officiality. There's a game shop just down the street from where I live with in-house DMs that plays the the new Elemental Evil games on Wednesday, and the Tyranny of Dragons adventures on Sundays. My question is this: Does the order that I play the adventures matter at all in official rulings? Could I jump into a ToD game one week and then try out the Elemental Evil game the next? If I miss a week, will I have to find somewhere to play the adventure I missed before going on to the next adventure? Or is it as simple as playing any adventure I want to as long as I don't play the same adventure with the same character more than once? I really don't know.

no you can play any adventure in any order. There is only 2 rule to be carefull about:

- The adventure are classified in 4 tier. Those tier represent the level range that the player can be. So your caracter level 2 can join tier 1 game. So make sure that the table you want to join will be playing tier 1 adventure.

Tier 1= level 1-4

Tier 2= 5-10

Tier 3=11-16

tier4=17-20

- Then if your caracter start in 1 adventure, and you do not reach the end of the adventure (or of the episode) and your caracter join a different table, he cannot come back and finish this first adventure, but he can join when the table will reach the next episode.

Other then that, as long that you join an adventure made for your level, you can join any table at any time, but paying in both the ToD and the EE with the same caracter at the same time might be difficult (but not impossible)

There's a guideline in the new Player's Guide that says a PC should only begin a new Encounter or Expedition adventure at its beginning instead of midway through. Other than that, as long as you don't concern yourself too much with story continuity -- "How'd I get from Mulmaster to Phlan and back again?" -- you should be fine.

This is correct, with one caveat.

DDEX1-1 and DDEX2-1 require characters of level 1 and 2 exclusively. These are the only two adventures which deviate from the tier structure. All other adventures are geared toward characters within their respective tier, and are optimized for a part of 5 [x level] characters.
