Thankful for Tiamat

I criticize AL pretty heavily sometimes, but I also believe in providing praise and kudos where they are due.

I just want to say how thankful I am that the climax of the Tyranny of Dragons campaign arc doesn't seem relegated to an Epic adventure like some OPs have done in the past.  While I haven't read Rise of Tiamat yet, it seems apparent that there is a solid ending to the story arc that doesn't require a trip to a con to complete.  That was one of my biggest beefs with LG--it was impossible to feel like the PCs reached any form of conclusion to their adventuring.

I don't know if the AL admins have any plans for more Epics for the Tyranny of Dragons campaign, but it is deeply satisfying and incredibly validating to feel that the players at a store have the potential to experience a sense of closure for their PCs just as much as a con-attendee can.  This has been absent in a lot of previous OPs, and I just want to put it out there that I feel it's a very good thing.  I hope that this continues in the future.

Thank-you, Powers That Be, that decided to provide the campaign material in this way.  I can't tell you how affirming it is.
