As was shown in the thread linked above, Out of the Abyss will allow players to build outposts as a downtime activity. I was curious if the activity will work as written in the book or if there will be changes made to the rules to accommodate the drop-in nature of the AL. I figured since this activity was revealed weeks before the release of the book, it'd give the AL staff a chance to get ahead of any potential problems that could arise from an organized play setting where table population can vary from session to session. |
| #2Coredump00Aug 23, 2015 20:08:54 | My guess is the problem is that DownTime day activities are handled via the ALPG, which is written by WotC, not the AL Admins. So I am guessing that any changes (such as allowing an outpost) would require the admins getting permission from WotC for any changes.
