#1 Afetbinttuzani Jul 06, 2015 19:17:46	Hey, all. the adventure DDEX1-13 "Pool of Radiance Resurgent" calls for "dragonclaws" and a "dragonwing", in addition to a Guard Drake and a Wyvern.  The last two are clear enough, but what in the nine hells are the first two creature types?  I can't find them in the 5e monster manual or any of my 2E or AD&D materials. Anyone have info or images to help me at least describe these creatures to the players?   Many thanks. Afet
#2 Ainulindalion Jul 06, 2015 20:32:43	Dragonclaws and dragonwings are (mostly human) Cultists.  They're different ranks in the Cult of the Dragon.  I believe there are pictures in Hoard of the Dragon Queen, but I'm not sure.

Dragonclaws and Dragonwings are officer ranks within the cult of the dragon, while your run of the mill cultist uses the basic cultist stats from the MM. I like to think of them as seargents and lieutenants respectively.    Higher up in the ranks you start getting wyrmpriests, wearers of purple and "named" NPCs.
