I've accumulated a considerable ammount of wealth on many of my characters. Once I've upgraded my armor, what else is there to spend my money on?

Scribing spells and acquring expensive material components. Prospecting for a diamond mine for all the diamond dust

What would you, as a human, spend a money on? just translate those over...

Get a nicer house

Get a nicer horse/wagon

HIre servents

Nicer clothes

Charities

Bribe people

buy a nobility

buy a keep

throw big parties

eat/drink expensive foods

stay in expensive inns

start a business

disrupt an economy

hire away all the peasants to bankrupt a local baron

hire assassins to take out people you don't like

buy a boat

begin trading

get married in every town

buy elephants

invest money into a really nice scabbard to keep peace with the evil sentient greatsword you are holding on to...... (just sayin'....)

Spell transcription for the Wizard from found spellbooks.  Healing potions (usually in lots of 10).  Occasional scenario expenses.

Also, you can use it to increase your lifestyle. Mention it to your DM and hope he offers social benefits to you.

Pretty sure the cost is in downtime days (100 iirc although it could be more as I've never used it)

Unless you're wizard or a heavy armor user still saving for plate it's useless beyond a reserve for an emergency spellcasting service

Buy a small cart, then go through the Equipment Table with a fine-toothed comb and see what might be useful sometime.  My character currently has 450 GP worth of stuff to Cart around.

(oops, I forgot to buy a Mule and some Feed !)

I bought a fancy carriage and a quartet draft horses for my paladin to tool around in when she's in town. I also hired a driver for the carriage too.

It's nice to be a noble.

Someone in my game Purchased a Warhorse and then left it on the side of the road for 2 full days before remembering they had a Warhorse.

Suffice to say it was not there when they got back.

I like being able to casually throw 100gp at bribable or otherwise uncooperative NPCs. The times it hasn't bypassed a social skill check altogether, it's at least gotten me advantage on the roll.
