so in the resource download center for DDEN2 it says it should be available for March 16th, 2015. Well, today is that date and it does not seem to be available. Is there an exact time today that that will occur????

All imagery aside, this is a process that could be automated to optimize the release schedule. A couple scripts is all it would take to automagically upload the files to the AL server, update the Resource Center links, and email the login info to the FLGS.

From what I understand, having talked with the RCs - there will be a new password released for the second season (don't quote me on this), and that password will be disseminated to the game stores. As such, we will need to ask our stores for the new password in order to get the module once it finally gets released.

Oh I wasn't suggesting anyone hand out the passwords - heaven forbids no. It goes against the entire intent of having a password to begin with.... It's just disappointing is all when you have been waiting for the module for over a month, and on the day of release - you can't get the password due to a simple scheduling conflict lol.
I will get the password eventually - and can then pass it along to my table DMs. Until then, we have several tables still finishing up the last session or two of Hoard, two tables which recently started Rise, one table that is in Ep4 (I think), and 2 tables ready to go....
I think I will just have those 2 tables run Expeditions or something, or better yet - get them to run a 2hr character building and FAQ session (drop in/drop out as players finish their characters).
If I choose the latter, I will make certain the table DMs know the limitations/changes for season 2, so that they can answer any (and all) questions the players might have about their characters.
Kalani, you don't have access to the Elemental Evil website with the downloads for the new ALPG and the Player's Companion? Unless they are going hardcore secrecy and have setup a *third* password for the site, that should be where the file is uploaded when it becomes available.
Kalani, you might want to go with the suggestion that I'm going to ask of my FLGS' GM. Depending on the email provider used, it should be possible to set up automatic forwarding of emails sent by WotC that have D&D in the subject to the store DMs. That way no personal information is accidentally sent to the DMs, and the DMs don't have to worry about coming into the store just to get a password. Plus, that filter would likely forward any promo emails, which would expand product awareness for the FLGS.

This means, though, that Appendix A and Appendix B of the published book will likely be the races and spells from the Player's Companion, and magic items, if there are any.
