The big summer shows are a distant memory and it seems forever before the sun will return. So what's a gamer to do? Laugh at the weather and head to Winter Fantasy 39 that's what!!
Winter Fantasy is the Midwests premiere winter convention for D&D goodness and more. We celebrate the 39th year of the show in 2015 and hope you can join us. This year we're expanding back to our roots and brining all kinds of new goodness to the show. Check out the new items below and the website. We cannot wait to see you there!!!!
Baldman Games is preparing to make this year’s Winter Fantasy the biggest event ever to bear the name.
We’ve always prided ourselves on offering more gaming that any one person could play through in a single weekend. This year it is all about the D&D Adventurers League. We will have the most D&D AL adventures by any show, anywhere, EVER!!! Thirteen advntures including the first two-round adventure and 5 rounds of level 5-10 play. 4 rounds of premiere event. The Campaign Admins, regional admins, local admins, writers, and heck maybe even your mom will be there. We even have a few surprises up our sleeves to make this THE premiere AL show that you will not want to miss each year.
That’s all before we include the over 800 board games, special guests, and the additional games we’re still looking to bring along. You do NOT want to miss out this year.
Make sure to check out our website: http://wintfan.baldmangames.com/index.html
and follow us on Twitter (@baldmangames) and Facebook (Baldman Games or Winter Fantasy) |

| #3BRJNNov 10, 2014 18:06:13 | I'm looking forward to bringing my new 5e character in to try him out. Hopefully I can get him through L1 without somebody - my friends or me - accidentally killing him. (My 4e Warlock1 was Thunderwave'd into a pit trap along with an enemy swarm, ouch. Then I tried to use Eldritch Blast while in melee, oops. 5e characters don't have enough HP to do that again.)

| #4TyranthraxusNov 10, 2014 18:50:49 | Eldritch blast in melee dosnt provoke, it just provides disadvantage right? |

| #7biotech66Nov 12, 2014 20:46:11 | Dave, you are my hero! Just tell me when sign up is and I'll be there. This is the one con a year my wife loves to go to! |
| #8NozareemNov 14, 2014 10:59:58 | I saw all the cool mods, but was wondering if there will be an Epic at Winter Fantasy 2015? |
| #9SkerritNov 14, 2014 5:50:57 | Nope |
| #10NozareemNov 14, 2014 11:00:55 | So they only really run Epics at Gen Con? |
| #11SkerritNov 14, 2014 13:42:36 | They do not only occur at Gen Con, but we have not announced when the next one will be. |

| #15AlphastreamNov 20, 2014 11:45:37 | I can't wait for Winter Fantasy! The adventure offerings are awesome, and I'm also looking forward to trying out Rob Schwalb's new RPG. I love just about everything he creates!
I hope to see many of you there! |

Anybody else signed up? |
| #21PauperDec 17, 2014 8:14:35 | Sounds like a lot of fun. Unfortunately, between GenCon and a trip to Ireland for a friend's wedding, my travel budget for next year is pretty much already spent.

| #23SkerritDec 18, 2014 10:39:24 | I'll be there to point at Merwin and blame him! |
| #24UndrhilDec 22, 2014 19:27:21 | So, these new AL adventures are not going to be available for general play until March?
Why so long? |
| #25TyranthraxusDec 22, 2014 21:33:54 | Because WF is the biggest con that early in 2015 and scenarios always come out the month after the convention they are first run at? |
| #26BRJNJan 09, 2015 17:56:54 |
Less than one month to go. |
| #27BRJNJan 29, 2015 18:23:28 |
One week (and counting). |
| #28warfteinerFeb 01, 2015 0:29:23 | We're just a couple days out, and there are SO MANY PREMIERE ADVENTURES TO RUN.
Wow. I should probably log off and continue prepping. ;) |
| #29AlphastreamFeb 03, 2015 9:21:57 | In related news, Baldman Games announced the Herald's Guild, a new program for DMs! Perfect for February, which Wizards has announced as DM Appreciation Month! |
