This email is mainly directed at people who played any of the new debuting scenarios at Winter Fantasy.

Im not interested in spoilers so much as , how 'long' the scenarios ran. Was anyone aware of a scenario being wrapped up a little artifically due to time constraints. Im trying to pass along more information to my local players about how much time Ive been dedicating to running expeditions (in terms of booking the table at my local store). Im aware that higher level games generally require more time on the table.

Even DM's from WF feedback would be great.

Thanks

Drums in the Marsh had to be cut a bit short at my table.  There is a LOT of 'getting lost' available in the swamp.

The negotiations are more fun than random encounters (or maybe it was an ambush) with the wildlife.

I decided that a module featuring a houseboat on a lake / river would be a lot of fun.  (Wearers of metal armor might disagree.)

having played all the new ones at WF I think the time guidelines are pretty much in the ballpark assuming the tables are reasonably focused on the game vs. eating dinner, goofing around, etc.  I'd say the biggest potential to run shorter than its pledged time is the 8-hour Pyramids scenario. There are a few encounters that bogged down for us that might play significantly faster for a different party combination.  We also ran slightly over on the Pool of Radiance Resurgent and that scenario is a bit more open ended in terms of how to win.

All those adventures are listed as for levels 5-10

Does anyone know the recommended level for each?

Like Scroll Thief is for L2, Drums in the Marsh for L3, and Tyranny in Phlan for L6 ?
