#1 RecoveringRulesLawyer Apr 09, 2015 12:51:47	Can anyone give me the exact wording of the XP/ Level limit for the first part of Princes of the Apocalypse? Is it 1st level or is it 300 XP, which is actually the bottom of 2nd level?
#2 Kalani Apr 09, 2015 13:05:59	It is 300XP. You should have access to the exact wording if you have a copy of the Princes of the Apocalypse (Encounters) Document. If you are running the game from the book, I would recommend ignoring the XP caps and simply run it as written. If it is run on a Wednesday night, it still counts as "encounters". If run on a different day - it should be reported as "Casual Play" instead.
#3 Avross Apr 09, 2015 13:08:25	Not 100% sure I'm clear on your question...   If you are asking if there is a limit on what level characters can play the first part...then no, there is nothing specific to the first part (over and above the "once you hit 5th level, you can't play any more of the Encounters version of PotA")      If you are asking if there is a limit to how much XP a character can earn in the first part, then yes..., XP awards do cap.      "Each character participating in these scenarios can earn a maximum of 300 XP (the amount that will take a 1st-level character to 2nd level)."
