#1 d13soquidsnake Mar 12, 2009 2:43:36	Does anyone know if there might be a Oriental Adventures in the works for 4E? I was kind of disappointed there was no monk in the PHB (unless it will come out with the PHB 2). I think classes like the Monk, Samurai, Ninja, WuJen and Shugenja would definetely bring something unique to the table. 4E would give these classes a chance to shine, unlike 3E/3.5, where they were just redressed versions of core classes (Samurai: A fighter with a really expensive set of weapons and less feats).

Monk is going to be in a PHB at some point, and we'll get a preview in May. And really, Ninja and Samurai are just Rogues and Fighters (respectively). edit; ninjaed while I retrieved the link.
#4 klaustheprince Mar 12, 2009 3:12:22	I'm DMing a wuxiapian D&D campaign right now. The sistem fits the genre perfectly: high-powered characters who do crazy things and substain insane amounts of damage. Yeah, get cut and stabbed a dozen times and be fine after a good night's rest! :D
