| #1hellfyreJun 06, 2008 6:52:59 | Any heard anything about this? Maybe with a release date? Could use it for my D&D game .... |
| #2lucabrlJun 06, 2008 11:52:09 | Psionics will be in the PHB2, aside some other new power surces like primal |
| #3thasisJun 07, 2008 10:59:09 | I'm a bit concered over this Psionics in a PHB... they deserve their own manual by all rights. But whatever, I'll see how it goes. They did a fine job of the PHB1, so if they can pull of a decent PHB2 I can look past them lumping multiple stuff in there. I'm just pretty frustrated that I have to wait a year for Psionics and Druids... |
| #4hellfyreJun 07, 2008 11:18:23 | I hear you ... I'm hoping that the DDI will have supplemental material on both. Honestly, they should give both materials and some others (Bard, Barbarian, etc) as a way to draw more people into the DDI. |
| #5thaxJun 07, 2008 13:13:09 | The inclusion of Psi in the PHB2 is a disappointment for many, but for different reasons. one side is disappointed that Psionics are being put into a "CORE" book. The other side is disappointed in the pearing down of psionics to a couple of classes and a race within a PHB. Hopefully, a Psionics book will expand on the power source after the PHB2 is put out. |
| #6treimaJun 07, 2008 15:34:22 | Is there a release date set for PHB2? |
| #7Ra-TielJun 07, 2008 18:25:20 | The inclusion of Psi in the PHB2 is a disappointment for many, but for different reasons. Remember the announced "Martial Power" splatbook? You can kiss my shiny metal Show cup |
| #8lucabrlJun 08, 2008 7:57:26 | here will be an "Arcane Power", a "Divine Power", and eventually also a "Psionic Power", "Shadow Power", and "Primal Power" sourcebook. :D I totally agree :D |
| #9ariasilverhandsJun 08, 2008 8:11:11 | Meh. Psionics should be banned from the game forever. Go play scifi if you wan scionics. |
| #10Ra-TielJun 08, 2008 8:21:04 | Meh. Hm. Psionics should be banned from the game forever. As should elves. Go play scifi if you wan scionics. Go play StarTrek if you want vulcans. *sigh* ![]() |
| #11ariasilverhandsJun 08, 2008 8:33:21 | As should elves. Go play StarTrek if you want vulcans. *sigh* My campaign setting only allows humans. :P |
| #12Ra-TielJun 08, 2008 10:23:00 | My campaign setting only allows humans. :P At least something. :P But I still don't agree with you that psionics is "sci-fi". There are several magical effects that are actually more sci-fi, both in name and/or effect. Like Reverse Gravity, Teleport, Dimensional Anchor/Lock, Disintegrate, Implosion, Regenerate, Telekinesis, ... |
| #13apollyonschosenJun 08, 2008 10:32:56 | Mind flayers? Aboleths? Crystal Dragons? Psionics is totally fantasy. They belong in the game because they are really popular also. Some of the more popular classes were delayed frm the original release for some reason. Don't ask me why almost half the classes had to be spellcasters, one was a subclass of another class. They could have fit at least one or two more classes if they had formatted the PHB less like a comic book. Silverhands your setting sounds kind of boring. Unless it's Iron Heroes. Why humans only? |
