#3 thasis Jun 07, 2008 10:59:09	I'm a bit concered over this Psionics in a PHB... they deserve their own manual by all rights. But whatever, I'll see how it goes. They did a fine job of the PHB1, so if they can pull of a decent PHB2 I can look past them lumping multiple stuff in there. I'm just pretty frustrated that I have to wait a year for Psionics and Druids...
#4 hellfyre Jun 07, 2008 11:18:23	I hear you ... I'm hoping that the DDI will have supplemental material on both. Honestly, they should give both materials and some others (Bard, Barbarian, etc) as a way to draw more people into the DDI.
#5 thax Jun 07, 2008 13:13:09	The inclusion of Psi in the PHB2 is a disappointment for many, but for different reasons. one side is disappointed that Psionics are being put into a "CORE" book. The other side is disappointed in the pearing down of psionics to a couple of classes and a race within a PHB. Hopefully, a Psionics book will expand on the power source after the PHB2 is put out.

There are several magical effects that are actually more sci-fi, both in name and/or effect. Like Reverse Gravity, Teleport, Dimensional Anchor/Lock, Disintegrate, Implosion, Regenerate, Telekinesis, ...
#13 apollyonschosen Jun 08, 2008 10:32:56	Mind flayers? Aboleths? Crystal Dragons? Psionics is totally fantasy. They belong in the game because they are really popular also. Some of the more popular classes were delayed frm the original release for some reason. Don't ask me why almost half the classes had to be spellcasters,one was a subclass of another class. They could have fit at least one or two more classes if they had formatted the PHB less like a comic book. Silverhands your setting sounds kind of boring. Unless it's Iron Heroes. Why humans only?
