Oct 25, 2008 20:11:58 I ordered it because you never know when a simple little introductory adventure is going to explode into something much larger. Well, I haven't run anyone through the example dungeon because I haven't built on it yet, but the monster tokens gave me an idea.

I thought I would hate the things, but then I got to thinking: what if for every module they put out, they do a sheet like that for the monsters you'll need? It shouldn't raise the cost too much, after all they'll have the template and the stock artwork already. Those who prefer a completely 3D feel will most likely still buy the minis, but I think the card stock token would be kinda nice for the less picky.

I like it! I'd use the tokens for your run of the mill baddies, but I'd still more than likely get actual minis for the important or interesting villains. It would definitely be worth the extra cash.

Oct 26, 2008 1:08:34 What I personally would like to see would be some manner of online tool, where there is a grid placed on a blank page that would print out for scape for a 8x10 piece of paper.

Upon each section of the grid you could drag and drop tokens (they could update the monster list as new monsters come out (like they do with the Compendium). Thus you can select what tokens you need and how many and then print them out and got them at the right scale and right amount.
