#1 delugeia Sep 30, 2009 17:18:59	Stumbling around Amazon.com, pre-ordering all of the 2010 books I could find, I happened upon this one: 4th Edition Player's Handbook Collection (ISBN: 978-0786955527) Anyone know what it is?  I also found it on Barns and Noble; but no others. Thanks in Advance!

#4 Marandahir Oct 06, 2009 11:43:56	So they are going to release update rulebooks combined with errata and all the races and classes.   I wonder if they'll just include those two books, or if it will include races and classes from other books (settings, Dragon Annual, etc).  Probably not, but this book will probably the closest thing we get to something like 4.5e, which is much preffered than creating a half new edition because of eratta.   I like, but don't like the prospect of buying new ones.  It might be useful since I'm DMing now, and could hand out the other books amidst my players while keeping the combined book to myself.
#5 delugeia Oct 06, 2009 11:50:49	Since its release date is only a month away and... since I've heard NO announcement of this from Wizards and... since there's not so much as cover art, much less a description and... since it only exists on two of the many book sites... I am guessing this is a mistake, or a concept that was cancelled and never removed, etc etc. My guess is that the order will be cancelled by Amazon since I'm guessing there is nothing to ship. But I still went ahead and ordered it last month.  So I guess we'll see. Maybe they'll ship me some cool, limited release item that was never meant to be sold!  Or maybe I'll win a prize for pre-ordering every single 4th Edition item ever sold, including the ones that don't really exist! But I'm guessing it was a mistake and will be cancelled eventually.

#7 delugeia Nov 11, 2009 9:35:06	The Amazon site has been updated. It is a box set that includes both Players Handbook and Players Handbook 2. There's no indication as to whether or not the books include the various errata. The price is right though!  Only $23 for both books is a great deal and it includes a coupon for $12 off an annual DDI subscription. I'm planning on ordering a couple of sets for my old 1980's high-school buddies. Enjoy!
