| #1gmanjkdAug 26, 2014 11:36:55 | Keep in mind that this is only hypothetical. WoTC has mentioned on several occasions that D&D5e is modular in nature. They have eluded to revisiting some or many of the old world settings. What if they were to approach each world setting as a rules expansion. For example. Ravenloft - Fear and terror rules Dark Sun- Psionics, Harsh weather etc Spelljammer - sea fairing and space fairing travel. Planescape - replaces Manual of the Planes and includes planer travel. Kara Tur - advanced combat Again this is strictly hypothetical. Anyone have any thoughts, opinions? |

If you want to play Ravenloft, you obviously want to use the horror rules and of course each setting has it's own flavorful rules add ons. Amalgamating the popular setting with modular rule sets would be a nice marriage. Your hired. |
