#1 xardrax Nov 04, 2008 9:32:35	Hi, is there any information what the Game Starter Set will exactly contain? What is the adventure about? Is it something completly new? And whats with the "map tiles"? Are those the well known dungeon tiles, mini-postermaps, or something other?

What it contains: - A quick start rules book (similiar to what's in H1) which covers the basics of playing the game and some pregen characters. - A DM rule book which covers things a staring DM will need plus a short adventure for levels 1-2 range. - A set of dice - A sheet of tokens which covers some basic monster icons and 1 of each class with a 'normal' and 'bloodied' side to it for the PC tokens. - 3 sheets of dungeon tiles All in all it's worth the 17$ just for the tiles and tokens. It's also a good thing to hand a new player so they don't feel overwhelmed with the PHB. The quick start guide gives them what they need to play and some sample characters to give them an idea of what a character is like starting off (with stats for levels 2 and 3). It doesn't give rules for creating a custom character though, nor is there monster stats outside those for the mini-adventure.
