Jan 19, 2009 22:09:43 One of my biggest complaints about 4E is that the sorcerer was not included in the PHB. The sorcerer was my favorite class in 3.5, and I didn't like how the warlock was included in the sorcerer's place.

But with all the power creep going on, I think not having the sorcerer in the PHB might be a blessing in disguise. If the pattern of power creep continues, the sorcerer in the PHB2 should be slightly more powerful and/or more balanced than the PHB's wizard.

And what luck! Eberron 4E will be released this year, so I'll be able to start Living Eberron with a sorcerer! Oh joy!

Power creep isn't so bad as long as it benefits ME.

I'm self-centered that way.

Indeed. Maybe he means Martial Power? Though, even if he did, I'm not sure how that translates to "Sorcerer = Wizard but better"

Jan 19, 2009 23:32:00 Even there the only things I could find somewhat Power Creep-y are a few Fighter related options and feats.

I was working on a ressourceful Warlord (that didn't go the thrown weapon route) and I found myself going for PHB powers more often than not, to my regret.

*you being the general you, which was the main theme of MP.
