So! Now we know there are TWO new builds for the Fighter in Martial Power! The previously announced tempest, and the battlerager. I must say I'm particularly curious about this second build. Quickly, everyone! Speculate!

Here's hoping each class gets two new builds, and that each one has as much detail as I'm hoping from description of the Fighter chapter. =D

Well, we have seen something that seems to be the equivalent to Weapon Talent, it was put into the Compendium early, or something along those lines, it's been posted on the Defender forum with the title Martial Power: 2 new Fighter builds.

Someone is behind on their news. We already know what the battlerager does thanks to a leak in the compendium last week. Essentially it gains temp hp whenever it gets hit and it utilizes attacks which get more powerful when it has temp hp. It focuses on axes, maces, and a few other blunt instruments. At least that is what I recall, I might be a little off.

Oh and every martial class in the leak had two new builds except for the Ranger. However the text on the Beastmaster Ranger was about twice as long as the text for the other classes' new builds, so I expect that introducing animal companions is going to contain a lot of new rules making the Ranger chapter as long as the other classes despite having only one new build.

Edit: Oops, I just checked my notes and only found one new rogue build. I could have sworn there were two....

That may be due to the fact that there is rampant speculation that there will be a two weapon style build for Rogues, as in one article confirming the TW fighter build, the WoTC staffer actually talks about the differences between a Rogue TW build, a Fighter TW build, and the current Ranger TW build.

My fingers are crossed and hoping for the TW Rogue build.

If the fighter blurb is any indication, each class is going to get their own chapter. I hope the other classes get the same number of Paragon Paths, (12), a nice smattering of Powers to support the new biulds pluss a few more, then all the nice feats. I think we are supposed to get a few more Destinies as well.

The Battlerager looks to be what you play if you want a Barbarian with a martial, rather than primal, power source.
