A fanboy moment....

.... I am so freaking pumped for all the new releases.

Just got hold of Ravenloft (mini review in the 4th ed General section).

Can't wait for all the boxed sets and digest sized rulebooks.

Everything just seems really useful on some level, whether it be dungeon tiles, tokens, consolidated rules, revisions for ease of play...  I like the direction.

It's like system bloat.... de-bloat!!!!!!!  Foot in mouth  Does that make sense?  Laughing

I'm treating it just like a buffet bar:  I pick what I like... leave the rest...  and then stuff my face!

Wizards seem to have figured out that if they flood the market with all these products, they need to be affordable.  From the Red Box to the board games, all the upcoming titles are relatively inexpensive.  The books being digest size is very clever.

  Can't wait!  Smile

Yeah, I agree totally.  I like the way WotC has managed to wrap the tons of errata into a fresh new package without invalidating the existing options.  On top of that, it provides an onramp into the game for new people.  Everyone can keep the old; everyone can enjoy the new.  Very clever.

I'm pumped myself.

I agree. 2011 feels like a lot of new, different products. I'm pretty stoked for the boardgames, boxed sets, and the two options books. It's less in quantity, but it feels like more in variety.

I also agree. I won't be buying some of it, but I will definitely be picking up the boxed sets. Om nom nom nom nom.
