A Request for Open Grave: Secrets of the Undead...

Jul 13, 2008 12:47:08 Please, please, include rules for PC playable undead. The one I am thinking of particularly is PC playable vampires. Something like a balanced vampire spawn template that can be added to PC's, or perhaps the vampire spawn as a class? Anyways. Something that allows players to become/play as vampire spawn, and then the vampire lord as a paragon path? I don't know. I'm not looking for anything imbalanced or godly. I am totally cool with many "vampire racial abilities" appearing as feats that a character would have to take (if they really want to have all the abilities granted to the monster version of the race), but it would really be nice to see some PC options in this area. These were always some of my favorite rules from the Libre Mortis.

Jul 14, 2008 12:54:27 Alas, the NDA I signed prevents me from confirming or denying if your request will be present in Open Grave Cyber-Dave. I reply only to mention that writing and design on the sourcebook was completed months ago, so it would be beyond our abililty at this point to respond to customer feedback such as this.

Having said all that, your request has merit.

On a side note, if this sort of thing is NOT in the book, perhaps this sort of thing could be released in Dungeon around the same time as the book (as a compliment/compliment to the publication of the book?). Anyways, thanks again.
