Now that they have announced DMG2 for Sept. will they put DMG2/MM2/PHB2 in a bundle like they did with the originals? I kinda like the slipcase they bundled the originals in and wouldn't mind a series 2 bundle along those lines. I know most people won't wait until Sept. to get PHB2 or MM2 but I am on a budget and living overseas at the moment so I will most likely be waiting to get all three at once (birthday or Holidays most like).

Any thoughts? Speculations? Matta ne!:D

based on the difference in publication dates... I'd assume no.

Boxed sets are a favorite for publishers...They have little start up cost (the individual books have already paid off the authors/artists), they are attractive to the buyer (i can get all three and once, and for $5 less! Bobby likes these books, how nice I can buy all of them at once) and sometimes people who bought them separately will buy them again (my friend does this with the star wars movies). Its mostly win-win for them, provided they properly estimate the demand. I would say chances are good on there being a boxed set, but it will obviously wait until the last one has come out. At worst you'll have to wait for the Deluxe Version Gift Set to come out in late fall 2009.....(speculation...deluxe sets are even better than boxed sets.
