Amazon or WOTC, who is correct?

May 04, 2009 7:35:46 WOTC's preview today says the Eberron Players Guide is coming out in July and Amazon has it coming out in June. Which is it WOTC?

Which means the website people have absolutely no idea because we'll be getting Campaign excerpts later this month with absolutely no player excerpts.

It's happened before. There doesn't appear to be great communication between the website team and whoever is responsible for release dates.

Could be they changed their minds again since that interview, though.

Or that a mistake was made during that interview. It seems to me that it would be pretty easy to slip up and reverse the titles, especially considering how briefly they were mentioned.

And the editorial calendar has been updated to say excerpts from the player's guide will be put on the website later this month.

Looks like we are getting EPG first! When the Editorial Calendar said otherwise, I was certain that Amazon just was terribly mistaken.

May 10, 2009 17:31:32 Amazon originally had dates matching WOTC listings. Then about 6-8 weeks ago the EPG and ECG release dates were switched in separate update-notices to those folks who'd already pre-ordered them. Obviously Amazon got updated information from WOTC and reflected those changes on their pre-orders.
