| #2BolongoFeb 25, 2009 17:50:15 | Is there any other info on some druid bits besides the 1-3 playtest? Some druid specific feats/items/powers? With my amazing powers of divination, I predict that in 3 weeks from now, you will have all the answers you want. At the moment, well, there's the charsheet linked in Ranadiel's sticky, but that's it AFAIK. |
| #3LFKFeb 25, 2009 18:31:39 | Playtest summoning powers for Primal Power and some Druid necromancy spells in the latest Dragon. |
| #4LordArchaonFeb 27, 2009 10:30:19 | Playtest summoning powers for Primal Power and some Druid necromancy spells in the latest Dragon. I checked out and they're Shaman's, not Druid's. Luckily, because nothing about the druid would mix with necromancy in my view, while shamans could even be quite a bit into it. |
| #5yusakuasanoFeb 27, 2009 11:02:43 | can a druid take a summoning daily even he hasnt take the summoning built?? |
| #6BolongoFeb 27, 2009 12:20:47 | can a druid take a summoning daily even he hasnt take the summoning built?? Of course. A build is just a suggestion, it's not a rule. |
| #7merchant_of_shadowsFeb 28, 2009 4:53:14 | Is there a summoning build for druid? What is the equivalent of Primal Guardian/Predator for it? |
| #8BolongoFeb 28, 2009 4:59:23 | Is there a summoning build for druid? What is the equivalent of Primal Guardian/Predator for it? Actually no build has been presented, just a bunch of powers. That there will be a build is just an assumption. But since the Wizard is getting one it seems like a reasonable assumption. |
| #9LordArchaonFeb 28, 2009 8:22:43 | Actually no build has been presented, just a bunch of powers. Yes, and it's reasonable to expect it coming in the Primal Power book. Personally, I'm not very happy that every controller gets summoning, especially I have never liked druid's summoning, because sometimes animals just don't fit. I was happy with animals in Primal classes being limited to the spirits of the Shaman because they're insubstantial. But seriously, do you think it's a good looking scene to have the druid call a wolf in the elemental chaos? Never liked the idea of summoned animals. They should be summoning spirits or maybe strange fey-like beings (the "Forest God" of Hellboy 2, anyone??), but not true animals. What's more, who agrees with me, join me and give this feedback to he druid summoning playtest. Maybe we manage to change something. Even only a bit of fey attached to the animals would suffice. |
