Any reason for E3's release date?

I was just wondering what the reason for that might be, as it kind of throws my dnd group off schedule-wise (although we are fine filling the gap with a new adventure/whatever). Was just wondering if anyone has heard if October is the definite date and what the reason for that might be?

There was a pretty long gap between P2 and P3, as well. I don't think it's any big conspiracy, rather that adventures are sort of "filler" on WotC's release calendar; that is, they're scheduled to be released at times when WotC hasn't got much else coming out that month, within reason of course.
