I like the warlock, its a very fun class all the way around in my opinion. My question is has anyone heard what new Warlock Pacts will appear in Arcane Power yet, and if not what are we expecting? I personally expect to see a Draconic pact and an Abyssmal pact. Any one heard anything official that either confirms or is contrary to my expectations? If so I'd love to hear it.

No official word on what pacts we will see. However before 4ed came out there were rumblings of a Vestige Pact that got cut. I'm personally praying that it was finished, cut for space, and will be appearing in Arcane Power.

We have 4 pacts already, counting the Dark Pact in the FRPG. To be honest, I'd rather see them spend more space fleshing out existing pacts instead of introducing a bunch of new ones. They'll probably have to include at least one new pact though, and Vestige is as good a choice as any.

If you don't mind 3rd party products there are a few new Warlock pacts around:
* Angelic Choir - A pact with angels, quite an interesting idea, IMO, and the fact its requires a "ritual" (fluff-only) to gain the pact explains why there aren't pacts all over the place with angels. Its also only possible because of the separation of gods and angels.
* Vermin Lords - There exist "Vermin Lords" which are god-like creatures who have taken insects and arachnids on as their patrons. Warlocks of this pact gain the power bestowed by these Vermin Lords.

Unfortunately they're not accepted in LFR so I can't play either of these.

I'd say two more Warlock pacts would sound about right. Some ideas might include:

Elemental/Primordial pact: A pact with creatures of the elemental chaos. Would probably be a second CON-based pact (since the Fey and Dark pacts are CHA-based already), focusing on elemental attacks. It will probably use more melee and close burst attacks, to allow a "melee arcane striker" build.

Necromantic/Blood Pact: A pact with the powers of undeath (Orcus may be involved in the flavor). Focuses on mimicking the abilities of undead creatures such as vampires, ghouls, and so forth (including a lot of necrotic and poison damage powers). May include a few 'summon undead'-type powers, to make a "Necromancer-lite" type of character.

Im in agreement with the person who said Id rather see existing pacts fleshed out and maybe one pact added, I want more dark and fey pact powers!!! Mainly because Im playing a darkpact lock who will be taking duel pact fey at paragon levels.

The Vestige Pact is more likely then not a shoe-in of any we can think of given it was in consideration.

For myself:

More Star Pact but focusing less on Far Realm and Cthulhu-type stuff. More things like Fate, Destiny, etc. perhaps an alternative fluff and such directed around the idea that you made a Pact with the Fates themselves.

Arcane power would likely focus on different builds, so the existing pacts would compliment this new idea.

Elemental/necrotic pacts sound cool but likely would step on the toes of the similar power sources.

More pacts please.

The Angelic Pact would be welcomed.

As would a Pact Of The Undying. (Undead pact if you couldn't guess somehow)

Yeah, I'm hoping for a Vestige and Primordial pact (as it seems they are introducing 2 new builds per class).

Fey, Star, Dark and Infernal... I wonder... perhaps a good Warlock Pact would be of the Angelic type, which should be granting some Radiant damage-dealing (in which you really don't need a Cleric or a Paladin to come along).

....You are aware that the star pact does deal radiant damge with some frequency right?:P

I'd be happy with draconic and vestige pacts. I'd prefer to avoid necromantic and elemental arcane classes so that they can instead fall into the other power sources. I also think that an angelic pact would blur the lines between the divine and arcane power sources; for those who want to play a character with an angelic/divine pact, it seems like the Invoker will be a good match.
