| #1SolodanDec 15, 2008 9:25:28 | Anyone know if the new Arcane Power book to come out Spring '09 will have anything for Spellplague characters? I'm hoping it can get some more goodies as it seems kinda cool, but underdeveloped right now. Here is to hoping! ![]() |

The spellscarred are a lot like the spellfire wielders of pre 4e FR and can easily be put in another setting. We may see something and if we do it'll be a sign that WotC sees the FRPG and some of the features in there not so much a campaign-specific resource but a campaign flavored resource with lots of core/portable player features. |

Besides that, they have made specific references to the five classes that will be in Arcane Power. There was no mention of Spellplagued in there, so at the very least it will be a suprise appearance if it does appear.Well HOW the spellplague hit FR is setting specific but the concept of the spellplague/spellscarred isn't really setting specific. But we already know that they are including a chpater in Arcane Power on the Swordmage. I think that is plenty of proof that they aren't viewing FRPG as a completely isolated product.(plus Genasi and Drow got new options in Martial Power) |
