Jul 28, 2010 23:50:19 The August 2010 Content Calendar is now available for previewing.

Next month: Bards, Sorcerers, and Warlords make up our Class Acts ventures. Gnomes, Eladrin, and Drow get featured in Winning Races. A battle with Elminster follows up on our earlier battle with Drizzt in Hero Battles. Power Play returns this month, focusing on the Divine.

From Dark Sun, we look at Playing Templars and the Slave Theme as expansions to the options presented in the release on the 17th.

Starting this coming Monday the 2nd, the coverage of Psionic Power begins. If it follows the usual format, that will be a preview of Ardent on Monday, Battlemind on Friday the 6th, Monk on Monday the 9th, Psion on Friday the 13th!! (what an ectoplasmic day ;) ), and then a feat or Epic Destiny preview on Monday the 16th.

In addition, Excerpts from Dark Sun continue until release date. Ampersand Specials continue on every Friday of the month, probably previewing some section of D&D Essentials until release in September.

We also go back and Explore more of Taer Lian Doresh in Eberron again this month, the second of this particular Explore series of articles (usually, Explore X contains three articles on the location).

Finally, you can expect the usual two Chaos Scar adventures amongst several other Dungeon adventures, as well as Design & Development, Eye on the Realms, Eye on Dark Sun, Dungeoncraft, Confessions, Countdown to Essentials, Spotlight Interviews, Podcasts, In the Works and the various Editiorials.

Did I forget anything? Oh, don't forget new free content such as a Scenario to implement the events of Mark of Nerath into your campaign. Oh yeah, and Castle Ravenloft Board Game is this month too.

Jul 29, 2010 5:46:39 The special Ampersands are indicated as Insider-only. A misprint? More detailed crunch/previews? Same for the Countdown to Essentials. These were free for July.

Until I see Dragon/Dungeon ToCs, I tend to reserve judgement on what's being offered. Still, always glad to see Sorcerer material. Looking forward to PsiPower previews, though.

I hope the Ardent stuff on Monday is some low level powers or a Build and not a Paragon path.

Good to see more Sorcerer stuff as they rarely get anything

I can't belive we have a new theme day 1 after the new setting is out... SLAVE sounds like an intresting but hard to pull off one...

Five bucks says that it was one that was going to get put into the campaign guide, but got cut for space.
