Beast Companion Equipment?

Jan 21, 2009 0:55:13 There are a few Companion Slot items in the current Adventurer's Vault. They give bonuses like increasing a beast's healing surge value, and give a damage bonus when the ranger and beast are flanking an enemy. Stuff like that.

Jan 21, 2009 12:47:16 I saw some threads mention that stuff (don't own AV, myself), but I was hoping for stuff that provides static bonuses to attack, damage and defenses. Anyone heard anything?

I wouldn't worry too much about that. Since beast companions advance like monsters (+1 per level) instead of like PCs (+1/2 per level) they tend to have solid enough attack/defense without any additional enhancements.

If we ever get attack/defense boosting companion items (which I don't expect), the boosts would have to be rather minor. Probably no more than +1 per tier and probably not starting till paragon tier.
