I think it would be a great idea for Wizards of the Coast to include with their adventures ALL the maps using dungeon tiles (have them marked and numbered - example: this tile is for encounter #1 tile #4), plus any miniatures that are required for the game.

This way a lot less time is wasted trying to use "generic" dungeon tiles to reconstruct the maps from H1, H2 etc.... The miniatures being included would allow the people that don't have 275,000 miniatures to actually use the correct miniatures without having to resort to using different dice to represent the bad guys. (In our game, the dreaded blue d20 comes to mind)

So you figure they could sell the module as an adventure kit - the module, the maps, and the minis for the monsters/NPCs all included - and yes they would have to charge more - but it would be worth it.

I would definately buy that kind of thing.

Oh, and for the modules already produced they could do an adventure pack - supply all the missing parts and charge for that too.

I have to second this as a great idea. I was rather disapointed to discover that the Tiles they are currently putting out don't relate to any of the adventures they are putting out. Which means my group just uses a stadard third party grid map. As while the adventures currently do come with a couple of maps those do not cover even half of the maps you would need. We have also been rather disapointed in the quality of the adventures, not of the content but of the actual product. The paper they are printed on is cheap and easily smeared and the covers are not even trade paperback quality. Rather shocking considering the fact that the core books and the DM Screen seem to be of such a high quality.

Anyway didn't mean to start complaining, I agree that a module that came with tiles and mini's would be a must own for every group, and would love to see that happen.
