But i do love undermountain, and its a fantastic dungeon with a conveniently close town =P

Better yet, we have the name of the next encounters, The Elder Elemental Eye which sounds like it ties in with heroes of the elemental chaos, and also one of the coolest evil bad guy organizations, which may lead to a 4e temple of elemental evil

Undermountain isn't supposed to be published in Dungeon ? EDIT I think i confused with Skull Port.

(It even refer to a future D&D Encounter Season: The Elder Elemental Eye....for April 2012)

You have seen all the negative comments on WOTC's adventures (yes, I implies new ones - there is)? Sadly, well..

Actually, they do that several times a month in Dungeon Magazine.

The fact that you could only think of the remakes and not the 'new legends' might be the reason why they're doing remakes.

Yeah, most of the 4e adventures are either updates or "meh". Gadmore Abby looks awesomsauce but I can't imagine it being updated to 5e or 6e. They need a new iconic showcase adventure.

id pose the idea that it takes time for an adventure to become legendary, im sure some of the classic ones we love today may not have seemed all that awesome when they first came out and nostalgia has since taken over, in fact, theres a few really fun DDI and 4e adventures that id say are really awesome, like Last Breath of Ashenport, Lord of the White Field, the Madness Trilogy, and Reavers of Harkenwold (also a special mention to Dead by Dawn, best skill challenege EVER).

Nov 09, 2011 7:12:09 Red Hand of Doom was even incorporated into the fluff of 4e. Its Elsir Vale setting was used in Dungeon's Scales of War adventure path (which came out in early 4e).

Red Hand of Doom is a really cool adventure! But i remember some people grumbling about it when it came out, so i think only time will tell on whether or not some 4e adventures will be able to stand
