#1 TheLoneCleric Mar 12, 2009 23:53:12	Ya, ya. I know we don't know the 2010 setting. But that's not what this is about. I'm honestly curious what the Devs thing about older settings themselves. Where are they coming from when they get their hands on say Dragonlance or DarkSun. What do they think was the strong suites, and what was worst of the worst. Maybe be a great topic for a podcast! ...hint, hint, hint, hint...

Frankly, I think that a person's favourite campaign setting is a very personal (and touchy) subject, and a few arguments have been waged now that the obvious candidates have been written. My advice: stick to the ones with the biggest fanbase. Dragonlance and Greyhawk have the greatest potential of nostalgia-driven buyers, so hit them up first. After that, I think Dark Sun and Planescape have the biggest buzz on the Internet, so they've got some promise.
