| #1DarkkaiokenSep 11, 2010 17:02:29 | Hey, What's the liklihood of a Human Brawler with a shield miniature? Currently, I'm playing a that race/class with a gauntlet and a shield, but I have no mini to portray anything close to it. Wonder if anything like that is in the future or even been suggested? |
| #2snarls_at_fleasSep 11, 2010 18:26:20 | Like Thunder_Dragonbane said. Or get a shield somewhere (or a small poker chip) and glue it on the brawler. |
| #3DarkkaiokenSep 11, 2010 21:58:23 | That's a GREAT idea. I so didn't think of that. Thanks@!!! |
| #4starphoenix26Sep 15, 2010 9:07:47 | much more needed figures: |
| #5Chiba_MonkeySep 15, 2010 12:46:36 | I'd like to see: A mini that is definetely a warden (maybe in the middle of one of his guardian forms). Shardmind minis (in colors other than red/pink). Psionic classes with the halo around their heads. Another Thri-kreen or two. |
| #6strand0Sep 15, 2010 21:53:52 | I hope they do a set of Gamma World mutants. ![]() |
| #7Chiba_MonkeySep 16, 2010 3:31:33 | I hope they do a set of Gamma World mutants. Great Cyric, no. If they do, it needs to be it's own seperate set with nothing but Gamma World stuff in it. I don't want to accidentaly end up with some of those. |
| #8Style75Sep 16, 2010 4:35:04 | I'd like to see all those new Dark Sun monsters. Some of them are truly terrifying and would make awesome minis. The Dragon of Tyr tops my list. |
| #9branothebladesSep 16, 2010 14:25:12 | MORE DARK SUN MINIS!!! Heroscape minis may work well for some gamma world characters. |
| #10strand0Sep 16, 2010 20:12:51 | I hope they do a set of Gamma World mutants. Aah, come on Chiba_Monkey! This is "D&D Mini suggestion/request". Don't be hate'n! AND seriously. Gamma World Minis PLEASE! |
| #11GMforPowergamersSep 16, 2010 22:18:41 | I'd like to see all those new Dark Sun monsters. Some of them are truly terrifying and would make awesome minis. my DM and good buddy just picke up a box of old metel min's from a guy who nolonger plays... in it was the darksun box o mini's with most of the the dragon in peices un painted... |
| #12starphoenix26Sep 17, 2010 9:58:02 |
i use the legends line as well, but i'm not really interested in painting them as much. and some of the gnomes in that set are larger than the average scale wizards prepainted. |
| #13FlashbackJonSep 17, 2010 15:05:18 | AND seriously. Gamma World Minis PLEASE! Working on a list of substitutions: community.wizards.com/gammaworld/go/thre... |
| #14hunterian7Sep 17, 2010 21:06:10 | We will be lucky to have a miniature set in 2011. I hope so but I am prepared for it. So, buy Lords Of Madness in droves!! I'd like to see a Half-Orc Mage and a Pit Fiend with a Mace (from the mm1). |
| #15snarls_at_fleasSep 18, 2010 20:15:14 | AND seriously. Gamma World Minis PLEASE! Nope. No one asked you even the one you've answered with this post. ![]() |
| #16knightoftheasterSep 18, 2010 21:46:54 | I suppose if they sculpted a set of Gamma World monsters, they could do it, but how could they possibly sculpt characters when all your mutations sound like they're going to be random? |
| #17strand0Sep 19, 2010 3:08:14 | Cat PICT Thank you, Mr. Snarls_at_Fleas. |
| #18mikronSep 19, 2010 3:40:18 | We will be lucky to have a miniature set in 2011. I hope so but I am prepared for it. So, buy Lords Of Madness in droves!! My thoughts exactly (aside from the half-orc). I wouldn't be too surprised if Lords of Madness would be the very last DDM set. I'd wish for one more set of amazing paint quality. Seriously, comparing the more recent sets' rare minis with uncommon minis of older sets is unbelievable. There are certain minis I'd love to have, but as long as the line continues at all, I'll be happy. |
| #19penandpaper2Sep 20, 2010 23:15:58 | Why all the wishlists from players? Build a module and sell the minis with it. Charge an extra 50-100 bucks and be done with it. Certainly beats spending six hours online trying to find the right minis to match the adventure. Also, please stop building your modules with a disproportionate amount of rares in them. It's insulting. |
| #20Style75Sep 21, 2010 8:59:31 | Why all the wishlists from players? Don't worry, they took your advice. Not only will they stop making minis, but they've stopped printing adventure modules too. |

[Edit - Removed War Devil after I realized there was one in Dangerous Delves.] |

| #23penandpaper2Sep 21, 2010 20:46:05 | Why all the wishlists from players? ? My advice is to sell them as a package - not discontinue them. |
| #24zman123Sep 22, 2010 23:05:27 | Very Rare: Lolth Ultimate Spider Form Drizzt Triumphant Artemis Entreri Prismatic Dragon Cerberus Rare: Lolth Drow Form Wererat Conjurer Eclavdra Angel of Light Prismatic Shard Eladrin Arcane Archer Adult Earthquake Dragon Howler Dread Hound Deva Knight Errant Shardmind Warseeker King Ironhilt (Never before in any minis set has there been a Human King.) | #25joeburgosNov 08, 2010 16:23:49 | Great ideas. Adding: Demogorgon (gargantuan scale) Lolth (gargantuan, as depicted on MM3 cover) Vecna & Kas |
| #26renanNov 13, 2010 14:53:03 | 1. Green Dragon - this is a must to properly complete the Icon line 2. Red Dragon - this would be nice since, let's face it, the CRD is simply too big for gaming 3. Demogorgon - very cool idea to go along with Orcus 4. Tiamat - huge WotDQ miniature is nice but a gargantuan would be awesome 5. Dracolich - see Tiamat above; perhaps something other than a blue dragon? 6. Tarrasque - cool idea since I know people have been asking for this since day one That would be awsome. \o/ |
| #27olfactatronNov 16, 2010 18:57:12 | 1. Green Dragon - this is a must to properly complete the Icon line I would buy all of those. Except for big red. Already have that one. There is a space on my shelf set aside for the big green. |
| #28renanNov 17, 2010 15:25:31 | I'd like to have a Gargatuan Lolth too. ![]() |
| #29BoneManPressNov 28, 2010 14:30:45 | I'd like to have a Gargatuan Lolth too. AGREED !!! |
| #30kairirosesNov 28, 2010 15:05:03 | I hope they do a set of Gamma World mutants. I would absolutely love this. Using my pre-existing minis to represent the PCs and Monsters from Gamma World just does not do them justice. Plus: Dark Sun monsters / PCs (especially the Dragon) the Dungeon Master from the old cartoon ![]() And for the miniatures to start being sold non-randomly like they always were back in the legendary days of yore... in that mythical time when you could just go out and buy a pack that had a mini for the monster you needed for your adventure. Not "well today the fearsome Beholder that is menacing the party is being played by a displacer beast because Beholders are stupidly hard or expensive to get ahold of". (Just as an example off the top of my head.) Rare D&D miniatures, WTF. And finally, my other request is for the D&D minis to start coming with Heroscape stats on a seperate card from their rpg stats. That way I can continue to get new minis for, what I felt, was one of the best miniature games of all time (behind Heroclix.) I loved that it allowed me to field armies consisting of standard D&D fantasy types, mecha, ninja, orcs riding dinosaurs, and psionic Matrix-style "Agents" (among so many others.) |
| #31zman123Nov 28, 2010 23:02:50 | I would like to see a special collectors Dragons Set. It will be similar to the Beholders set except with dragons instead. You gotta go for this one, Wizards! |
| #32prometx007Dec 04, 2010 16:23:59 | Back to basics... There are a lot of great ideas here ("Poker Chip Shield" guy, you deserve a medal for that one!). I think though, since 4E has introduced so many great new races/classes, it'd be great to just fill out those fundamentals as a base. The one particular I've got in mind is the Goliath. The, primarily, one, great mini, the Goliath Barbarian is awesome, but it would be nice to see, at least, one other common, easily buyable mini in that Race. The same of course goes for all the new races. The more common "legacy" races and classes, Dwarven Fighter, Elven Archer, etc. can, in a pinch, be filled in for by other older, similar minis. But when you create new races and classes there's no historical backlog of fill-ins to "pinch hit". We need a fundamental build up of minis to make up for these, I think. I am, for instance, currently on a, kind of sad, internet-wide search for an old Stone Giant mini to stand in for the default Goliath Barbarian mini for my current Goliath Warden character, if you know what I'm sayin'... Since 4E has shifted a lot of emphasis to movement/mini gameplay and tactics, we are in dire need of some good gear to really bring it to life and provide that variety and individuality we used to have, a la the good old "Ral Partha" days. Do us a solid Wizards! ![]() |
| #33prometx007Dec 05, 2010 10:37:08 | Reaper has a really nice Half giant mini, which is perfect for a golaith. Its roughly 30mm scale so it towers over the other medium minis on the mat which a 7' guy should. It comes with a great axe for its weapon. Hey Thunder_Dragondane, good lookin' out, thanks! I will check it out. |
