#3 robbgobb Jan 16, 2010 1:56:20	I will likely read the books though I skim them mostly. I would prefer to read more about a certain cleric/monk combo or even something new. I have stopped reading most of his work as I have not enjoyed. I can understand why most do but I feel bogged down too often. His work has felt tiresome to read at times. Hope he starts a new path that proves to be better for me.

The interview seemed to indicate that either most or all of them would focus on Drizz't. I agree that seemed like Drizz't would be the focus. I am hoping I will be able to enjoy them. Just I haven't really enjoyed them for a while.

Really?  Here I thought authors never had bills or needed to eat..... My inference was towards, yet more drizzts books, not that he was writing books.  An author can beat a particular character into the ground.
#9 redxdelivers Jan 25, 2010 15:24:35	i would have rather seen him sign a 3 year deal to do two books a year one drizzt and one focusing on other characters. hes shown that he can put out two a year in the past usually one for wizards and one for another publisher. with kemp and cunningham gone im finding less and less i want to read about the realms
#10 warfeind Jan 26, 2010 1:34:08	Although I enjoy the Drizz't books. I find RA's work better when it's about anyone but Drizz't. He never seems to develop the Drizz't character as well as does his other characters. In Drizz't novels I tend to enjoy the supporting better then the main character. Just my opinion.

Or, at least, he's writing what he thinks will sell. My point is that there's nothing wrong with that. If you're sick of Drizzt books, then I suggest you don't buy any more. Personally, I lost interest after Sojourn...
