| #1fhysicxJul 11, 2015 3:52:47 | Hello there fellow table top gamers! I have been developing a d20 game for 2 years and I believe it is finally ready for testing and feedback. I am currently seeking testers and play groups that are willing to take a few sessions and try something new. I created this game because I wanted to introduce table top d20 games to a few friends of mine. These friends are very competitive and wanted to use D&D to PvP. I had to explain why PvP just doesn't work in D&D, and then proved it with a halfling fighter. - Setting up d20 games can take hours to prepare a scenario or campaign, roll characters, story tell, and combat takes a very very long time when people take forever to decide what to do with their turns. I have tested a wide variety of solutions to many concerns that new players have with D&D. There are several existing systems that are very interesting, yet I have created something completely unique in the d20 industry. I plan on selling this product to Wizards of the Coast and discussed my options with them at length. They are interested but they cannot review unsolicited game demonstrations and they suggested I host a demonstration where my product can be seen and tested in a public environment. They have also suggested that I post my idea where it can be seen by the D&D community so I can get a vast amount of quality feedback from the people I aim to please. I have a convention lined up for June 2016 where I will host several tables where players can free play for the entire duration of the convention, we will also host two different round robin tournaments (1 player teams and 3 player teams) where players can win exclusive apparel and schwag. - We are developing several different formats for PvP content, and we are summarizing combat to be simple and quick. I have reworked Skills, Feats, Spells Per Day, Armor, Attack, Stats, Weapons, etc. This system features 49 unique Heroic classes that give players a massive amount of diversity without confusing them or overwhelming them. Players can design their own character classes for free play with a judge's approval (ex. Jedi Knight); however, for competitive play, we will stick to the original content. 100% of this game is malleable, which means a judge or game group can decide what to nerf/buff/create as they see fit. I have not finished all character classes as of this moment, but the ones I have released are mostly balanced and ready for testing. - I am seeking Play Testers, Judges/DMs/GMs, Critics, Experts, Artists, and the like. I am trying to make a game that every single table top gamer will enjoy, a game where someone that has never seen a table top game aside from Chess, Candyland, or Monopoly (age 12-99) can pick up this content and learn how to play it without being confused or overwhelmed. 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4, and 5v5 PvP matches are completely balanced with the content I have developed. A Priest can fight a Warrior on equal terms. Each class has it's own strengths and weaknesses and each class can be countered directly or indirectly through team building. - Aside from PvP we have also designed Boss Fight scenarios where players can create a team to face a random boss from a selection that will scale based on level and players involved in the battle. We have faced dragons of many varieties as well as colossal robot bosses that spawn adds and transform, we have had warhammer scale battles, and explored several planets and planes (space travel is possible with the Engineer heroic class, planar travel and planetary portals are controlled by Wizards). We have tested everything from gigantic enchanted potatochip vehicles to Gundam sized mech suits. The creativity of the players is heavily emphasized and our slogan is "What will you bring to the table?". - If this interests you, please post your opinions here or contact me through any of the contacts listed below. I have created a facebook group where any passerby can download the game's information for testing purposes. I am not worried about anyone stealing this idea as Wizards has already been informed of my game's design.
