| #1gull2112Mar 18, 2010 19:03:23 | I don't know if this subject is already around, but I've heard some rumblings about 5E and I thought I'd add my 2 cents. One thing I heard kicked around is doing away with stats and just using mods. Great! I like that. I was also thinking of doing away with standard weapon attack and damage bonuses. Each feat would have a key word, maybe weapon, maybe a specific class of weapons, maybe a particular weapon, maybe unarmed. This opens up all sorts of new power/feat options. |

| #5gull2112May 07, 2010 21:46:22 | Thax, Don't know about any white wolf system, but I think that it shouldn't matter whether your PC is using which weapon, all can be deadly, but they can be used differently with different effects which would be easily handled by having the various power keyed to certain types or classes of weapons. Many of the Paladin Implement powers have different damage and effects, but the implement is the same. This is already sort of done with many (especially encounter) powers specifying a weapon type like Pole arms or axes, for example. |
