| #1GrummoreMar 08, 2010 12:15:39 | Greetings, I skimmed through your web site and your miniatures section as dissapeared (now in the archive section). Does it mean that you no longer will create miniatures? If so, dont you feel it's pretty sad that every settings, except darksun (which is a NEW setting for 4e), have their miniatures line? Thanks. |
| #2Preston_RMar 08, 2010 12:40:37 | They are redesigning (again) the way in which they distribute DD minis. The next set isn't slated till (I believe) October(ish). |
| #3CyvarisMar 08, 2010 13:36:24 | Wait so they are again redoing the mini line? Geez, they seem to be trying alot of things. Wizards recent Heroscape/D&D crossover is actually looking to be great, and a great way to pick up minis. |
| #4Preston_RMar 08, 2010 15:01:36 | Yes, they are going back to 100% random with the next set, no more visible minis at all. Scrapping the PHH line totally. |
| #522_Over_7Mar 08, 2010 15:16:21 | There are half-giant miniatures, thri-kreen miniatures, and there's even a barbaric halfling - so I'm not sure what you're talking about when you say "there are no Dark Sun miniatures". But the next set (Lords of Madness) should/could have some miniatures that would look appropriate in a Dark Sun setting. |
| #6egg_thallid_sandwichMar 08, 2010 16:25:17 | The word is that the minis that would have been PHH3 are now included in Lords of Madness. I've heard that there's a new rarity and people are saying there might be a hero in every box. The hero in every box may be just speculation but I believe the new rarity and inclusion of hero minis (be they regular rarity, hero rarity or super rare) is fact. |
| #7GrummoreMar 08, 2010 18:19:17 | Thanks, it somehow reassure me with the fact that it might have darksun product for mini. It's a bad marketing to throw out a new setting with no miniature to go with in the first place though. |

Didn't seem to hurt Eberron at all. |
| #9egg_thallid_sandwichMar 08, 2010 20:24:52 | The Castle Ravenloft and Dungeons of Dragonfire Mountain board games features a full set of 40+ unpainted minis, since I'm good at painting minis I'm seriously considering buying this product. Monster Vault and the DM's Kit feature tokens which can be used as monsters. These monster tokens aren't intended to replace the minis products but allow beginners a less expensive alternative to miniature collecting. Gamma world also features tokens of both monsters and heroes but sounds kinda like a weird post-apocalyptic DnD upgrade. It's sad to see the PHH series go the wayside but at least there will be heroes available in lords of madness be they one per box, common, uncommon, rare, or super-rare. |

I dunno about that didn't PHH2 have a shifter, 2 warforged and a halfling barbarian or were the barbaric halflings from darksun I forget? still 3 or 4 minis can hardly be considered full support for an entire setting but they were there and before you go there that shifter mini sucked it crossed blades were totally crooked also I think that a warforged fighter and or rogue would have been a better option than a cleric and artificer... but that's what ebay is for i guess ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I'm talking about when Eberron was first released back in 3.5. |
| #12HalberkillMar 09, 2010 18:41:15 | I'm talking about when Eberron was first released back in 3.5. There were minis for it when it was released in 3.5. The Giants of Legend set had warforged. www.wizards.com/DnD/Article.aspx?x=dnd/m... |
