I just read the 3E book, and it seems really fun, espescially the alternate pantheons from ancient history.

What do you guys think?

Jul 07, 2009 23:28:19 Folks seem largely convinced that we won't be seeing one this time around, with the emphasis on a more tight pantheon, and the appearance of various divine beings in Monster Manuals, Draconomicons, and other sources.

If they decide to do one, I hope they use the 1st edition book as a model, rather then the 3rd. A dozen and a half historical pantheons, with the trimmings.

What do you guys think?

They've repurposed the name to be an article series in Dragon over the Dieties(cuurrently we only have Bane). Combined with the fact that we already have Vecna and Tiamat statted out, I think that it is quite unlikely that we will see a book dedicated solely to dieties anytime soon.
