Hi, do you think if it's a good idea if WOTC release a new update to the old cleric prayers and add 'domain' keywords? Much like what they did to the old wizard spells and added them the school of magic keywords. This way, original clerics can really feel having a domain instead of spending a feat to have a domain power.

This can also lessen their work in publishing each and every domain available for warpriests.

Sure!

We could have a keyword for the Sun domain. We'll call it 'Radiant'.

Then a keyword for the Storm domain: 'Thunder' or 'Lightning'.

Death = Necrotic

Healing = Healing

I could go on, but I'll leave it to say that most of the Domains can be best represented by pre-existing keywords.

I like it the way it is now where if you want to specilize you need to be a warpreist or take a feat.
Kind of like in 2E where there was the generic cleric and the specialty preist.

Keywords could be used as Domains - rather like how the Pyromancer used the 'fire' keyword to create a de-facto school from existing wizard spells.  But, the Warpriest is much more tightly structured than the Mage, and it probably wouldn't work /well/.

This.

Also, the school keywords for the wizard spells arent just there for "old timey feel" they are there for the mage who receives perks for certain schools. Now yes, the schools were brought back for "old timey feel", but its a mechanical element and thus has a keyword.

Now, if the warpriest had been designed using a similar idea as the mage, sure, but until we have a cleric that does that, extra keywords would just confuse new players.
