Divine Power in April?!

I've ordered Divine Power from Amazon UK, have they got prerelease copies in? My delivery estimate (below) reckons I'll get it in the next week or two! :D

You fool. By posting here you've alerted the WOTC watchdogs and they will pounce on Amazon and destroy them.

Or not. It's probably just an error. Amazon does that sometimes.

It's obviously a SNAFU on their part.

That would be a stretch. By this point, the book soon needs to be heading to the printers.

It has a July release date right? If so its out of RnD and at the printer, I would wager.

Could be. I'd say it is more likely in the final days of formatting and will be sent to the printers next week, but it is really close either way.

Apr 02, 2009 14:18:54 		based on the timetable that leaked proof copy PDF's started showing up for prior books, R&D and layour both seem to be done approximately 3-6 months before street date. (judging by 6 months for the core books, 3 months for AV)

not that those things are any realistic measuring stick.

Wouldn't take that long to print.

We've seen lead times of about 2 to 3 months for printing for previous books iirc.

Martial Power and Arcane Power (and other products) haven't been available substantially earlier than their official release date.

Wizards seem to have a plan of these power books every three months, with a couple of months of previews (free and in dragon) to get everyone excited and generate plenty of interest.

We haven't seen any previews yet and none are scheduled for April, but I would expect to start seeing Divine Previews in May.

I am looking forward to the book certainly, but I certainly wouldn't get my hopes up for anything soon; besides the official release date is only a three months away
